razzleBack to dating

LAST UPDATED OCTOBER 10, 2026 · VERSION 2026-10-10

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Razzle, a Case Western student video speed dating service. By checking the acceptance box and creating an account or joining dating, you agree to these terms.

Who can join

You must be at least 18, use a Case Western @case.edu email you control, and provide accurate account information. Email verification confirms access to that address; it does not guarantee another person’s identity, age, background, or safety. Keep your password private. Moderator accounts are for moderation and cannot participate in dates.

Your conduct

You are responsible for what you say, show, and do on camera and microphone. Nudity, sexual acts, harassment, hate speech, threats, stalking, impersonation, scams, illegal content, and sharing another person’s private information without permission are prohibited. Do not record, capture, or distribute another participant’s video or audio without their explicit consent. Respect refusals and do not pressure others to share personal information.

Report inappropriate behavior immediately

If you see inappropriate conduct, use Report immediately, choose a reason, and describe what happened. Submitting a report ends that pairing and returns both students to matching with different people. You may also block the account or leave dating at any time. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in a report. Moderators can review reports and suspend or ban accounts. Reports are allegations, not automatic findings of wrongdoing; report counts do not automatically trigger bans. Do not submit deliberately false or abusive reports.

How dates work

Mutually compatible students get an initial 60-second date after both connections are ready. During a 10-second private vote, camera and microphone transmission is paused. Both choosing Stay grants five more minutes; otherwise the date ends. After the extension, matching resumes. Prior pairings and blocked accounts are excluded. Matching and successful video connections are not guaranteed.

Other users and limitation of liability

Other users control their own live conduct. Razzle and its creator do not endorse user conduct and cannot guarantee that interactions will be appropriate, safe, or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Razzle and its creator disclaim liability for other users’ statements, behavior, and content, and for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded, or excuses the creator’s own unlawful conduct.

Account information and privacy

Razzle stores your account email, university, optional major, private matching preferences, terms acceptance version and time, pairing history, blocks, reports, and ban records. Your partner sees your university and optional major, and can see microphone/camera status. Matching preferences are used for mutual matching and are not shown to your partner. Moderators see report details and reporter/reported account emails, report totals, and ban status. Video and audio are transmitted using WebRTC; Razzle’s current application does not record them, but another participant may capture what they see. Avoid sharing information you do not want another person to retain. Supabase supplies authentication and database storage; the hosting provider delivers the website.

Enforcement and changes

Razzle may restrict or ban accounts for violating these terms or to protect participants. Use the in-app reporting tools for conduct concerns. Terms may change; materially updated terms require acceptance before further dating. Applicable law governs your rights, including rights that these terms cannot waive.
